More power to women!, this time literally as Marvel announces the new She-Hulk series, which will air on Disney+.Along with many other projects like Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, and HawkEye, the solo runner series about the superhero She-Hulk makes its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
When would we get to see She-Hulk?
If you’re a lonely nerd (which you are if you’re reading this article), imagine her in your dreams because she won’t be coming at least till 2021. Disney+ has not announced any date for the release and they haven’t even started the pre-production yet. The production is expected to start later in 2020.
Who will be who and what will be what?
The casting hasn’t been officially announced but there are strong rumors spreading suggesting Alison Brie might be getting the part. The role needs a woman with a build and a sense of humor and Brie‘s role in COMMUNITY, GLOW, HORSE GIRL, suggests she will be great. Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Stephanie Beatriz has also been rumoured for the part but has publicly commented that she’ll be happy to get the part, but she is already absorbed much in her long-running comedy.
SHE-HULK will have a comedic tinge to it, as the writer hired is Jessica Gao, and we know her from RICK AND MORTY, SILICON VALLEY (already excited, aren’t we?).

Who is SHE-HULK?
SHE-HULK was the counterpart of the (male) HULK, created by Stan Lee, SHE-HULK follows Jennifer Walters as she is gunned down by a vigilante and needs a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner (Hulk), after the transfusion, she acquires some traits from her cousin and can now transform herself into SHE-HULK.
