Skull & Bones: Release Date and Details

Skull & Bones is the first game led by creator Ubisoft Singapore, which was inspired by the sea battles of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Ubisoft Singapore is encouraging players to fine-tune their live-service aspects with a group initiative called “Keepers of the Code”.

Release Date

Skull & Bones was introduced at Ubisoft’s Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017. It has been confirmed for Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with updates for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Ubisoft’s multiplayer pirate adventure Skull and Bones is due to be launched at some point this year. With the next generation on the horizon, a worldwide pandemic threatening production plans and there is no sign of the ship.

Skull and Bones have just been postponed again, as reported during the new conference call from the publisher. Ubisoft reported that the game would not be released until the fiscal year 2020/2021.

Gameplay

Skull & Bones is a tactical strategy game placed in an open world environment and played from a third-person viewpoint. Players take charge of a dynamic pirate captain and can opt to sail the Indian Ocean on their own. They also can launch a single-player quest or bring up to five other players in multiplayer versus player alliance in Disputed Waters. Players join and assault other ships, engaging them in hand-to-hand combat.

E3 2018 has given us a brand new gameplay trailer for Skull and Bones, showcasing how it will work in the cutthroat shooting grounds of the title.

Skull and Bones provided two trailers before their E3 2017 release. One that was realistic and the other that featured multiplayer and PvP gameplay.

A pirate ship owns what seems to be a colonial vessel. Quick combat sees the imperial sailing, and its loot gradually sinks under the waves. Many pirate ships follow the rug in front of the hulls of the ocean floor.

Classes

Here are the three ship classes of Skull and Bones :

Frigate: an armored warship bristling with torpedoes that gets into the thick of the siege mode – which allows your ship to release an unrestricted wholeness of pain while weighing anchor.

Brigantine: comes with a powerful front-facing shield.

Sloop-o’-War: armed with mortar shells and long-range guns, a real sea sniper.

At the moment, that’s all there is to know – there’s no official launch date and no cast to talk about – but this will be a task to keep an eye on the environment.
