Netflix’s new series Cheer: Release Date, Trailer and Trivia!

Netflix released a new documentary series called Cheer! The documentary is based on cheerleading. Cheerleading has now turned into a mainstream sport from a form of entertainment. Cheerleading has been a form of entertainment and a source of encouragement in the sports industry. However, in the past decade, we have seen Cheerleading emerging as a full-time sport itself.

The Plot of the show

Cheer the documentary series covers the lives of cheerleaders. It digs deeper into the sport of cheerleading. How competitive cheerleading has become. The amount of training that goes into this newly established sport. The merits of being a cheerleader, the struggles of being one.

This show follows the lives of real-life cheerleaders based in Texas. How they train for their competitions. The strenuous training that comprises for being the best cheerleader. The show originally aired on 8th January 2020 on Netflix. Since it is a documentary series, it has 6 episodes. Every episode has a run time of 60 minutes. The show has got an 8.2/10 rating from IMDb. Since it has done do well for itself, Netflix might consider renewing it!

There is no official confirmation for the renewal of the documentary series. We won’t be surprised if they do renew the series. However, we will update you as soon as possible!

The Cast of the show:

Since it is a reality documentary series, the people in it are ordinary people and not professional actors! The team members are from Navarro College Bulldogs Cheer Team of Corsicana, Texas. They are working under the guidance of Monica Aldama their coach to compete against various colleges. It follows their journey towards the success of going to Nationals.
