Ubisoft is known for developing the best games over the years. Their games have gained recognition for featuring a lot of thrilling elements that have been loved by gamers. The gaming studio has planned to release a few new projects this year and the lineup also includes Skull and Bones. Although there is no clarity regarding the release, the game is expected to arrive soon.

Skull and Bones: Release Date
Skull and Bones has been under development for around ten years. It was supposed to be an expansion of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. However, the developers decided to bring it as an independent project as the technology became too old at the time. The game was supposed to be released in 2018 and it was delayed twice until the date was finalized to be somewhere in 2023 or 2024 as the previous launched received a negative response.

Skull and Bones has been in the headlines despite that the release is still a few months away. A Beta preview of the gameplay was released a month ago but a gameplay overview trailer was released around year ago.
Skull and Bones: Gameplay
According to reports, the premise of Skull and Bones would be set somewhere between 1650s and 1730s. It will be launched in an open world which is inspired by the Indian Ocean and the developers have stated that it will be a beautiful setting with a lot of danger inside.
The lead character will be a pirate who has began working as an outcast trying to get infamy and hunting for resources. The gamers would get the feeling of working like a pirate captain and he or she would be in control of the entire ship, including the navigation, combat and crew management.
The ship would be of three kinds – Navigation, Firepower and Cargo. Each ship is going to have its own unique features. Navigation will be the fastest among all. Cargo will help in the transporation of the items and searching the loot and resources. There will be a customization option for all the ships.
Ubisoft has not confirmed if there would be a single-player mode in the game. According to reports, only multiplayer mode will be featured and further details are yet to be confirmed.
