With foot-tapping funny raps and music along with loads of emotions and comedy, the American TV comic is up for the second season. After a successful first last year, Comedy Central gave a thumbs up to the second one in August 2019. But unfortunately, there hasn’t been any official news regarding the release due to the pandemic. So fans, you need to wait for a while.
South Side is created by Bashir Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle and is filmed and set in the Englewood area of Chicago. The show premiered on Comedy Central on July 24, 2019. The 10 episodes show tells the story of two friends, Simon and Kareem, who just graduated from community college and are ready to take over the world. But until they do, they’re stuck working at Rent-T-Own. The show gives an insight into the lives of the people living in the Englewood area. These two entrepreneurs try everything on the list, from the black market to street corner popcorn, to make it big in the business world. Their friendly banter what makes the show hilarious.
