According to reports, for the second installment of The Mandalorian, Temuera Morrison is going to return to the world of Star Wars and will do the role of Boba Fett.
This piece of news has left Mark Hamill (who plays the part of Luke Skywalker), in a confusing situation who had assumed that the bounty hunter would still be stuck in the belly of a Sarlacc.
Is it confirmed or not?
Well, nothing has been confirmed officially about this news. Neither Lucas film nor Morrison has said anything confirming any of these widespread rumors. So, at this very point, it’s nothing but speculation as to how this character could possibly make a return.
Other Cast related Updates are here as follows
According to Slash Film, Katee Sackhoff will be joining as Mandaloreleader and former Death Watch lieutenant Bo-Katan Kryze. Also that this is going to be marked as the first live-action appearance of the character in a Star Wars project.
Although, both Lucas Film and Sackoff’s reps have declined to comment on the casting. Howsoever, they have heard from multiple sources that she joined the show. Before Hollywood production began shutting down, she has also worked on the Disney+ series in February.
The character of Bo-Katan Kryze debuted in the fourth season of Star Wars and is also notable for being one of the few people to wield the Darksaber glimpsed briefly in the Mandalorian Season 1 finale.
