Tom and Jerry is an upcoming American live-action and animated comedy film. The film is obviously based on the cartoons and short film series of the same name that was created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
Tim Story directed the film and served as the executive producer while Christopher DeFaria produced the film. Kevin Costello wrote the screenplay for the movie. Warner Animation Group, Turner Entertainment Co. and The Story Company acted as the production companies for the film. The film has been in development since 2009 and will be the first theatrically released Tom and Jerry film since 1992, when Tom and Jerry: The Movie was released.

Tom and Jerry: Cast and Plot
A young girl named Kayla works as an employee at a beautiful and high-end hotel in New York City. She is preparing the hotel for an important wedding that brought a lot of business to the hotel. However, she is having certain ‘little’ problems that can threaten the entire wedding.
A small mouse named Jerry has started to call the hotel his home, which threatens to mess up Kayla’s plans. But she is unable to remove him from the premises. Therefore, she decides to hire an alley cat named Tom to get rid of Jerry.
William Hanna and Mel Blanc play Tom while Hanna, Blanc and June Foray play Jerry. Chloë Grace Moretz plays Kayla while Michael Peña plays Terrence and Colin Jost plays Dwayne. Finally, Ken Jeong plays Jackie, Rob Delaney plays DuBros and Pallavi Sharda plays Preeta.
