Truxton is said to be one of the most successful game franchises and their first game was released back in 1988. This was followed by a sequel in 1992 and both the games received a positive response from the public. A third entry titled Truxton Extreme has been already confirmed and the game is being developed by Toaplan and it would be published by Taito and Midway.

Truxton Extreme is going to be a modern take on the world of shooting and it is going to be a vertically scorlling shooter like the rest of the entries. There would be colorful laser attacks alongside screen-filling and screaming skull smart bombs. So, the overall gameplay of the new game is going to be difficult for everyone.

According to the press release, it is going to have 3D graphics alongside unlimited shooting. There would be white-hot shooter thrills and players need to take down a group of alien invaders with the help of Power Shot, Truxton Beam, Thunder Laser, and Homing Shot so that they can also face the bosses towards the end.

Additionally, there is also going to be a lot of challenges alongside quests that have to be completed to progress further in the game. Other details related to the gameplay are expected to be revealed soon as soon as the release date approaches closer.
