Developed by DRAMA, Unrecord is an upcoming first-person shooter game and received media attention when the developers released an early gameplay trailer in April 2023 showcasing the photorealistic graphics.

Unrecord Gameplay

The game’s press release stated that Uncredord will be a tactical and narrative first-person shooter where elements of an adventure game would also be added. The game is going to feature a real world and the game is not supposed to be a simulation game. Players are going to portray a tactical police officer and it will be seen through the character’s police body drama. The game’s Steam page description stated that the game’s story would be compared to a detective novel or thriller with the player investigating a lot of criminal cases alongside interacting with different characters via the dialogue system. The game’s body camera perspective is said to be an important part of the gameplay experience and the developers have revealed that there would be accessibility options and adjustable camera settings to reduce the chances of motion sickness while playing the game.

Unrecord Release Date

An official release date for this first-person shooter game has not been confirmed yet and the studio has additionally stated that Unrecord “is not expected to be released” within 2023. DRAMA is involved in the development of the game and it is an independent gaming studio. The gaming studio has been formed by French musician Theo “Foda C’ Hiribarne, who is a member of the French rap group, Columbine and amateur Unreal Engine developer Alexandre Spindler.

The game’s development team was joined by Michele Evangelista as the level designer and environmental artist and it is going to be the first official video game from the studio. Spindler also shared a video through Twitter on October 2, 2022, and it featured a glimpse of the game that he was developing. The gameplay video received around 9.8 million views and this prompted DRAMA to work on the game’s development and confirm the game earlier since they did not want to lose the hype.
