Wild: Release Date, Gameplay, and Trailer!

Survival games are loved by everyone and now Wild Sheep Studio is working to bring a new game in this genre. It is titled Wild and the game will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game was in the headlines for a long time after there were reports that it has been officially canceled. However, the developers denied the reports but they have not confirmed a release date until now.

So, let’s check the release date and everything else that we know until now about the upcoming game.

Wild: Release Date

Wild entered the development phase a long time ago in 2014 and Wild Sheep Studio immediately got involved in the game at the time. The developers were planning to bring a different kind of world for all the gamers where there would be some unique creatures along with online playing mode. However, there were no updates for a long time and after the gaming studio’s head Michel Ancel announced his retirement in 2020, there were rumors that the game has been canceled. But the game is still under development but an official release date has not been revealed.

Wild: Trailer

A release date for Wild has not been confirmed but a gameplay trailer was released nine years ago in 2015. However, no more videos have been shared after that and we can expect an official trailer only when the release date is confirmed.

Wild: Gameplay

Wild will reportedly bring a new world for all the gamers and it would feature some very interesting characters and creatures. According to the demo that was first released, the game was set in a Neolithic world where there were some tribes and animals and gamers expressed their desire to know more about the gameplay.

Players can reportedly take control of the animals and other creatures inside the game. Ancel stated at the time that the players would be killed by bears in the beginning of the game for a few hours and the gamers would portray the role of a member of an ancient tribe which existed between the 5,000 and 6,000 BC.

Ancel also revealed that in case gamers possess an animal and the animal dies, the gamer would return to the human body. On the other hand, if the human form dies, he or she would get revived and there are a lot of other ways to die so gamers have to do a lot of other things except destroying things.
