There have been video games that focus on some mysterious creatures that don’t possibly exist in reality. Witches are one of them and now Chucklefish is all set to bring a brand new video game titled Witchbrook. The game has been under development since 2018 and gamers are eagerly waiting for the release. The Covid-19 pandemic led to a delay but finally it is almost ready to be released for all devices.

So, let’s check the release date, gameplay, and everything else that we know until now about the upcoming game.

Witchbrook: Release Date

Witchbrook was officially announced a long time ago in 2018. The latest update that came from the developers in 2022 was that it was being developed for PC and they even shared a few glimpses of the game, hinting towards what the gamers can expect. However, a release date has not been confirmed so far but the developers are working to bring the game for everyone as soon as possible.

While a lot of games have been under development for a long time, they have been releasing a few teasers and trailers to keep the gamers excited. But talking about Witchbrook, the situation is completely the opposite. For now, there is no trailer or teaser available for the game.

Witchbrook: Gameplay

A few reports have revealed that Witchbrook is going to be a town life simulator and the situation would be same like the Stardew Valley. The main protagonist is going to be a witch who is undergoing training on how to become a witch along with confronting the problems of high school.

Gamers would get to build relationships with the rest of the students and town residents. They would get to learn more about the spells and the magic abilities. However, they also have to complete a few quests to learn all of these.

Detailed information about the gameplay has not been disclosed but as per developers, they are adding the activities of fishing, growing magical crops and foraging mushrooms while learning the spells alongside the way to use them.

The developers have once stated that they were inspired by Harry Potter. Founder Finn Brice said that he has been following Harry Potter series for a long time and recalled the school life where he made a lot of friends.
