365 Dni is a Polish erotic romance drama directed by Barbara Bialowas and Tomasz Mandes. This drama is already getting a lot of love on Netflix! It is in the top 10 movies/shows on Netflix and fans can’t get enough of it. This movie is based on the first novel of a trilogy written by Blanka Lipinska. Read on to find out how the movie is compared to the book!

Comparing The Movie And The Book!

The movie is based on the first book in the series, 365 Dni or 365 Days. The other 2 novels in the series are Ten dzien and Kolejne 365 dni which are translated to This Day and Another 365 Days respectively.

365 Dni

365 Dni revolves around a young Warsaw woman in a spiritless relationship. She falls for a dominant Sicilian man who imprisons her for 365 days to make her fall in love with him. The movie stars Anna Maria Sieklucka as Laura Biel and Michele Morrone as Massimo Torricelli. 365 Days is filled with steamy sex scenes and near abusive relationships. This is the main reason why this book series is called Polish Fifty Shades Of Grey!

The books are written in Polish but you can read them with English translations on Wattpad! Some fans say that the movie is as authentic as possible compared to the book. Even though there’s this opinion that the book is slightly better, others say that the movie is as true to the book as possible!

Ending of 365 Dni Explained And Will There Be A Sequel?

The movie ended on Laura getting attacked while she goes shopping. The biggest question all of us have is, ‘Is Laura alive or dead?’ Well, worry not. She has to be alive based on the other 2 books in the trilogy. According to the books, Laura has only been kidnapped by another mafia family.

The second book in the trilogy sees Massimo rescuing Laura from the mafia family. There’s no official news regarding a second movie but we hope its made after the success of this one. Hopefully, we get to see more steamy sex and mafia between Netflix’s current favorite couple!
