COUNTDOWN: INSPIRATION4 MISSION TO SPACE

Directed by Jason Hehir (“The Last Dance”), “Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space” is a docuseries about an unprecedented SpaceX mission that includes interviews with Elon Musk.

From training to launch to landing, this all-access docuseries that premieres Monday, September 6, 2021, on Netflix rides along with the Inspiration4 crew on the first all-civilian orbital space mission.

WHAT IS “COUNTDOWN: INSPIRATION4 MISSION TO SPACE” ABOUT?

The docuseries will follow four civilians as they launch into space on a three-day trip orbiting Earth and reaching an altitude higher than that of the International Space Station (ISS). The SpaceX Dragon mission, dubbed Inspiration4, is the most ambitious step to date in the rapidly-developing age of civilian space exploration, making history as the first all-civilian mission to orbit. The flight will be sponsored by Jared Isaacman, who will be on the flight along with Hayley Arceneaux, Christopher Sembroski, and Sian Proctor.

The quick-turnaround series will take viewers behind the scenes with the four crew members — from the selection process to liftoff. The final episode, which airs just days after the mission is completed, will give viewers access inside the spacecraft capturing the launch and the crew.
