Archer: Plot and Cast
The show follows eight agents at the New York based agency International Secret Intelligence Service, better known as ISIS. Very tongue in cheek, isn’t it? But it doesn’t just stop there.
Sterling Archer, the protagonist, is a womaniser and a narcissist. His mother, Malory, is a retired ISIS agent (it is tough to write ISIS agent without thinking of the real world ISIS, jeez) and emotionally distant. Cheryl Tunt is a delusional and psychotic woman, who also happens to be Malory’s assistant.
Lana Kane, the most professional agent at the agency, is Sterling’s love interest and the mother of his infant child. Ray Gillette is a gay man who specialises in bombs. Pam Poovey is socially awkward and insecure, while being the head of the Human Resources department. Cyril Figgis used to be an accountant but is now an agent. Finally, Dr. Algernop Krieger is a scientist with no morals and little care for his subjects. What a cast of characters!
The characters in the show are voiced by Chris Parnell, Jessica Walter, Aisha Tyler, Lucky Yates, Judy Greer, H. Jon Benjamin, Amber Nash, and Adam Reed.
