Badiya: Gameplay, Release Date, and Trailer!

Developed by Saudi developer Semaphore, Badiya is an upcoming open-world survival video game and the title refers to two different games with the same settings and content. The first game, entitled Badiya: Desert Survival, is a single-player sandbox survival RPG planned to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. An Early Access beta was launched via Steam on 11 November 2016. Followed by the second game, Badiya: Battle Royale, is a multiplayer free-to-play battle royale online game that was established for iOS and Android devices in May 2020.

The events of the game are set during the 1920s in the Arabian Desert. Life is not so easy at this place and players have to discover and get the important things that can ensure his or her survival. The desert is also very huge and players get a chance to find the sites, villages, camps, and ancient ruins and they also have to confront the wildlife and residents of the place.

Badiya Gameplay

Badiya is yet to confirm a release date due to which a lot of details about the gameplay remain unknown. It will be a survival game and the premise will be set during the First World War. You have to battle in the sands and tyry to survive at a time when the old traditions are challenged by the arrival of the industrialization. You have to travel through the sands and participate in a lot of wars. Also, you have to explore the spice routes and find treasure so that you can acquire your ambition towards the end. You will get to experience the difficult climate and wildlife that is present in the desert areas. The entire area is going to keep things hidden from you including honor-bound Bedouins, sites of ancient civilizations, and rare resources. Moreover, the power of the industry that leaves an impact during the era of the First World War is going to affect a lot of other things too. There will be a lot of conflicts and destruction which means that you are in for a thrilling ride.

Badiya Release Date

The game is still in the early access phase and the subtitle Desert Survival was also added to it after Semaphore revealed that Badiya: Battle Royale in April 2019. The settings and content are said to be the same and it is completely separate from the Desert Survival and the main emphasis is on the free gameplay in the online mode. Battle Royale was then launched for iOS and Android devices all around the world on May 19, 2020, and they later planned to release it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. The game is being created in Unreal Engine 4 compared to the other installment which was made in the Unity Engine. But the official release date of Badiya is not confirmed yet.
