Death Stranding 2: Gameplay, Release Date, and Trailer!

Death Stranding 2 is the sequel to one of the best PS4 games, developed by Kojima Productions and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. During the Game Awards 2022, Death Stranding was confirmed to have been under development. However, the developers did not reveal anything else apart from this. Apart from the developers, Hideo Kojima was also one of those people who made an official announcement related to the game. He additionally revealed more details on what the gamers would get to experience inside the game. The first game that came out had a very complex premise so the gamers had a lot of questions in their mind for Kojima as they were planning to know what is going to happen next in the game.

Death Stranding 2 Gameplay

A lot of things are expected to happen in Death Stranding 2 considering that it is a sequel to a successful game. The trailer has already revealed Sam Porter, who is now old along with Fragile who has been fully healed. There is an extinction entity cult whose leader is spotted in Amelie’s necklace and haircut and all of them are hiding their face with the signature death mask of Higgs.

There has been a mention of APAC and a new thing called Drawbridge which would be a replacement for Fragile Express. There have been some hints where gamers have to deal with multiple alternate realities linked through the beach with variants of Sam Porter, BB, and many other characters.

It must be noted that the main story that was conceptualized for the game was rejected during the Covid-19 pandemic. The game’s director and writer of the game Hideo Kojima stated during the Game Awards 2022 that he rewrote the entire story from the beginning and that he was very bad at predicting events due to which he decided to plan everything from scratch. Meanwhile, more details about the gameplay is expected to be revealed when the release date approaches.

The official release date for Death Stranding 2 is yet to be confirmed. But it is confirmed that the game has been released for PS5, and Kojima Productions is yet to reveal whether it will arrive on other platforms.
