Earthblade: Release Date, Trailer, and Gameplay!

Developed by Extremely OK Games, Earthblade is an upcoming Metroidvania platform video game that features a character named Névoa, who has recently returned to a ruined Earth, traverses and dashes between platforms, climbing terrain, and fighting enemies. It is drawn in a pixel art style. The upcoming game is going to be released for Windows.

The developers announced the upcoming game in April 2021 and began playtesting by April of the next year. The developer shared the first footage of Earthblade at The Game Awards 2022. Earthblade is set to release in 2024 for Windows.

Earthblade: Gameplay

The Game Awards that was held last year had a surprise in store for the public which was the announcement of Earthblade. According to reports, the main protagonist of the game is going to be Nevoa who is the child of Fate.

Nevoa returns to Earth after a long break and the entire game will be revolved around her where the players need to solve a few mysteries. Players would also encounter the remaining people of a world that has been almost destroyed and find some enemies.

All the pieces must be put in together so that the fractured history of the Earth can come out in front of everyone. The trailer of the game also revealed a few things where gamers got to know that Earthblade is almost similar to Celeste.

Detailed information about the gameplay is currently unavailable. The game has not been released yet and the developers have not shared any official statement regarding the characters that are included alongside other information.
