Developed by Squid Shock Studios, Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is an upcoming action-adventure game being released for gaming devices. The game is published by Humble Games. In February 2022, the game was first unveiled with a Kickstarter campaign with Squid Shock raising $174,999 from almost 4,000 backers. Nintendo Switch ports are the things that changed this time.

The developers have scheduled to release Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus in 2024 but an exact release date is yet to be confirmed. A little bit of Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus was revealed during the Humble Games Showcase livestream that happened in 2023. The game was later featured at the Gamescom.

The gameplay details for Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus is currently unavailable. Considering that the game’s release is a few months away, it is expected that the developers will reveal more details by the end of 2023.

As per the latest trailer, the players would be known as Bo, a Tentaihana. They would get a lot of unique items for themselves that will help in shape-shifting alongside exploring the entire world where the game’s basic premise is set. The powers of Daruma dolls and Omamori amulets will also be a part of the player’s special abilities.

The first will be traditional gifts bringing good luck and it would work similarly to the elemental summons. The latter can be found at Shinto shrines and is inspired by kami-in-game.

The trailer also disclosed some of the important characters and bosses who would be an important part of the game. Bo will encounter all of them as the players progress further. The characters also include a spider queen boss.
