FIFA 21 Coming in October to kick-off on your Consoles!

At EA Play Live on Thursday, viewers got their first taste at what the new FIFA would look like in the next generation at consoles. EA announces their football title last Friday of September. Though this time it appears to have been delayed for two weeks until Friday, 9 October 2020. EA Sports reveals that FIFA 21 will be released worldwide on October 9.

The release date of October 9 applies exclusively to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. There is no news yet when next-generation consoles will be available as speculation surrounds whether the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X will enter the market.

FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 Trailer

The next installment was unveiled through a trailer shared with Madden NFL 21, announced earlier. As per EA, this year’s game will benefit from the upcoming release of PS and Xbox One X.

For FIFA 21, EA will make the characteristic of “player humanization”. Expect players to behave more authentically, celebrating tougher goals, grappling tougher against bad decisions, and likely slipping harder into the DMs of Instagram models.

To those wanting to join FIFA 21 early on the new generation or Mac. Pre-order Ultimate Edition or Champions Edition can allow players early join as of October 6. Additionally, on October 1, EA Access (PS4, Xbox One) and Origin Access (PC) will be providing customers their first taste of the game.

The FIFA website has announced that the Dual Entitlement is coming. Players who buy the game for PS4 or Xbox One will be able to update the title to PS5 and Xbox Series X at no additional cost. The functionality will be made available for both physical and digital versions of the game. Dual Entitlement will only be available for redemption before FIFA 22 is released.

No launch date for FIFA 21 has so far been reported for Nintendo Switch or Stadia. However, EA has promised more information on those issues later this year.

EA Sports has vowed to share more information about FIFA 21, Career Style, Pro Clubs, and Ultimate Team in the coming month.
