Ghostwire: Tokyo is a forthcoming action game created by Tango Gameworks, and released for PS5 and Windows by Bethesda Softworks. The game is set to go out in 2021.
Release Date
In June 2019, during the Bethesda Softworks press conference at E3 2019, Shinji Mikami and Ikumi Nakamura revealed Ghostwire: Tokyo. The title is set to come out in 2021 for PlayStation 5 and Windows.
Gameplay
Ghostwire: Tokyo is taking place in Tokyo, where 99% of the people abruptly disappeared without notice or reason, leaving their clothes behind in a Rapture-like case. The mystical abilities of the player character begin to manifest. When the player battles the ghosts roaming the area, he encounters a party wearing Hannya masks who may reveal the mystery behind the strange Tokyo events.
The player can use a range of supernatural and spiritual powers to fight the ghosts and spirits roaming Tokyo. Combat director Shinichiro Hara characterized the battle as karate meets sorcery, as the character of the player uses hand motions inspired by hand gestures from Kuji-Kiri to cast spells.

If an opponent loses much of their energy, the heart will be revealed and the player will be able to use takedown actions to smash it, destroying them.
Three spirits are revealed: Amewarashi, Shiromuku, and Kuchisake. The game is equipped with 3D audio support. It also supports the DualSense PS5 controller with haptic feedback for various special capabilities.
Players must have a clear understanding of their abilities to take down the different ghost forms of the game. The GhostWire: Tokyo’s environment and fighting, enemies are influenced by ancient Japanese mythology, with a new twist that makes them popular among AAA gamers.
Ghostwire: Tokyo is expected to launch on PS5 and PC sometime in 2021. Since it’s a special timed console, it’s probably coming to Xbox Series X sometime later.
