Gods and Monsters is a game set in the ancient world, mythological Greece. In this universe, the monsters walk on Earth as the gods and goddesses of Olympus rule.
Ubisoft is said to have modified the title of its forthcoming Greek mythology game from Gods & Monsters to Immortals Fenyx Rising due to a patent conflict with the beverage firm Monster Energy.
Immortals Fenyx Rising, which was part of the live stream of Ubisoft Forward, was recognized as the Gods & Monsters since the game was announced at E3 2019. The name change details are not clear.
