After the MWC 2019 event, the fans are looking forward to the launch of the flagship smartphones. Huawei will be unveiling its Huawei 30 on March 26 at a venue in Paris, France. The Huawei flagship series generate and a lot of buzz before launch and the P30 is no exception. The company itself teased some marquee features of the upcoming smartphone and it looks like OPPO is not the only one developing the 10X lossless zoom camera technology.
A couple of live images of the alleged Huawei P30 Pro showing the 10x zoom lens surfaced a couple of days back. Huawei responded by releasing a teaser to compliment. Now, from the live image of the Huawei P30 Pro, it clearly shows a square-shaped module beneath the dual cameras. There have been conflicting reports about the number and nature of sensors but a 10X lossless zoom is very likely.
OPPO showcased a similar prototype at the MWX 2019 event with a square shaped module featuring 10x zoom. So it could be the same technology on the Huawei device. Since OPPO has not announced a launch yet, Huawei might be the first one launching into the market. The teaser doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone bit it seems to sport a glass back with a gradient finish.
There are rumours of the quad-camera setup on the P30 Pro. The fourth sensor is speculated to be a ToF lens that it will be placed below the LED flash. An image clicked a couple of days back also shows Huawei CEO Richard Yu holding the alleged Huawei P30 Pro. These reports make it pretty clear that the upcoming Huawei P30 will bring powerful camera module raising the benchmark in smartphone photography. The predecessor Huawei P20 kick-started the triple camera trend which now reached to mid-range smartphones like Samsung M30.
