In Sound Mind a new horror game! Release Date and Gameplay!

Publisher Modus Games and creator We Create Stuff, developers of Nightmare House 2, revealed their latest survival horror title, In Sound Mind. Identified as a psychological nightmare with desperate puzzles, special boss battles, and an original Living Tombstone soundtrack. Travel within the inner workings of one place that you can’t seem to escape, your mind.

Release Date

Revealed on the PC Gaming event, In Sound Mind’s announcement trailer brings horror fans to the darkest corners of their subconscious, where truth blends with the unthinkable. Enter the strange memories of a therapist as you try to navigate the impacts of an experimental chemical.

In Sound Mind is expected to release for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in Q1 2021.

Gameplay

When you wake up in the halls of a mysterious house, you find that the world takes on a life of its own and leads you to uncover a string of victims, all subjected to the same mysterious drug. In the search for answers, strange illusions appear and unleash a series of terrifying monsters and a cat called Tonia.

In Sound Mind, a first-person psychological thriller with chaotic puzzles and special boss battles comes from the makers of the cult classic Nightmare House 2.  Traverse through a series of disturbing memories as you move through the inner workings of the one place you can’t manage to escape, your subconscious.

We Create Stuff, best known for creating indie horror mods, and browser games are developing the horror genre. Nightmare House 2 is probably their most popular, cult classic horror hit, until now. In Sound Mind, there’s a jump up in complexity for the squad, but it sure seems like a lot of fun.

In Sound Mind enters in an increasing list of intriguing horror games reported for the PS5. Horror will certainly be part of the next wave of consoles.
