HBO Max renews its anthology romcom web TV, Love Life, for another season. Created by Sam Boyd, Love life, premiered on the HBO Max, the streaming service which made way on May 27, 2020.
The anthology series follows a different person each season from their first romance until their last romance. In the first season, Darby Carter’s journey comes to an end, but Love Life has only just begun.
The next season will revolve around a “whole new love story in New York City,” it was announced Thursday. The renewal comes just hours after the last four Season 1 episodes dropped on the fledgeling streaming service.

What To Expect From Love Life Season 2?
According to HBO Max, Season 2 will centre on a new character’s journey, “one which explores what happens when you’ve lived your whole life knowing who your soulmate is, only to find out years into a marriage that it’s not the right fit at all.” The new season will feature several characters from Season 1, as well as Anna Kendrick’s Darby, who will “appear occasionally.”

Love Life Season 2 Release Date
The popularity of Love Life is expected to chip on fast-tracking the renewal. Speculations have it that the show will air next year around this time. The only visible hurdle is that the current pandemic. There’s also a chance that the service will prioritize other original series to bolster their exclusive content. For now, the best bet would be somewhere around late spring or early summer of 2021.
