Marvel’s Iron Man VR is out now! Trailer, Gameplay and Features!

Marvel’s Iron Man VR is a shooting game for the PlayStation 4’s VR platform created by American studio Camouflaj and released by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Iron Man.

Release Date

The title was released for PlayStation VR on July 3, 2020. After several delays and an interruption in the development of the game triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The game received mixed-to-positive feedback from reviewers, commending gameplay and game design, but praising performance problems and the inclusion of constant loading screens that disrupt the game’s flow.

Gameplay

A shadowy computer hacker and terrorist identified simply as Ghost begins targeting Tony Stark and his company in the main plot. Taking vengeance for deaths caused by the company’s arms made in the years previous to Stark becoming Iron Man.

Play is viewed from a first-person viewpoint, relying on the player to explore the simulated space of the game using the Iron Man armor’s moving mechanics and weapons systems to assault opponents mainly in aerial battle through various worlds.

Iron Man can easily explore the multiple game worlds accessible through a linear progression of different stages. You can also engage with players, perform challenges and gain new armor enhancements by playing through the main plot or completing gameplay modes beyond the plot.
