Developed by Asobo Studios, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is an upcoming flight simulation video game and is published by Xbox Game Studios. The game will be a follow-up to Microsoft Flight Simulator of 2020. It will be available for Windows and Xbox Series X/S. The game was first announced in June 2023 during the Xbox Games Showcase and the Asobo Studio engine is currently involved in its operation.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: Gameplay
There will be a lineup of new missions on the air which will also involve firefighting alongside search and rescue. Other activities include helicopter cargo hook transport, mountain rescue, aerial crane construction, and more. There will be various vehicles added including the Airbus A400M, and more. The vehicles will be used for activities like experimental aircraft testing, nap-of-the-earth flight, and more. Gliders, airships, hot air balloons, and other aircraft are being added to the collection. Gamers would get to enjoy everything in different environments that feature a lot of snow, tornado, and more alongside improved traffic reporting.
Flight Simulator 2024 is going to be a standalone version of the game and Microsoft said that the addons that were brought to the game’s online marketplace will be helpful until 2024. There are no details available about the external third-party addons and the new missions and aircraft will be a part of aviation career modes. The physics will also be improved along with the add-ons. The aircraft systems are going to be updated and the performance will also get some changes.
