Music Producer Alvido is up with his new hit, ‘Afraid Of You’

Is Alvido trying to dedicate his song title to the year? Maybe, there is a probable chance, now that existing and breathing seems like a luxury. We wouldn’t be surprised if the artists start naming their songs like this. Well, jokes aside, music producer and EDM composer Alvido a.k.a Alen Gruber is up with his new Summer hit Afraid of You and we can guarantee you that once you tune in the song in your soundbox you are going to have a big party within the four walls of your house. Alvido got his first DJ inspiration at the mere age of 13 and his muse is DJ C64 who saw him mixing on turntables. He tried his hand at DJing and never looked back. He had always been particularly inspired by Rene Bourgeois and the legendary AVICII. Now if you want to know the interesting part, it’s behind the process of creating his musical name. His previous name was Vidovic when he got deported to Germany at the age of 11 as a refugee from the civil war in Yugoslavia and was adopted as a teenager, which changed his birth name to Gruber. Hence,  ALVIDO stands for Alen Vido-vic. It was just a decade ago that he started making his own albums and kept improving with time. He uses FL Studio with various VST plugins such as the Synth Sylenth1, Kickstart, and various filters and mastering tools.

Alvido believes that music isn’t about playing musical instruments but what comes from your soul. It should speak your soul’s language and transcend you to a different dimension. His music is like his own baby. Things around you should inspire to create something. Everyone leaves a part of themselves when they leave the world and music is one such thing that will stay forever and will bring one back to life again and again. He loves RnB and Hip-Hop and EDMs with Hip-Hop touch.

Lockdown had had a huge toll on us but creators like Alvido know how to make the best out of it. He didn’t go a single day when he didn’t compose a music piece and that resulted in pieces like Afraid of You, Close to Me, Supernova, Together.
