Never Alone was a puzzle-platform adventure game that turned out to be successful after being released in 2014. The game also received a positive response with particular praise towards the overall setting of the game and it was developed by Upper One Games. Never Alone 2 was announced back in 2022 and it was confirmed that the game was in the pre-production stage at the time. The news was revealed in a trailer where the original game for Nintendo Switch was featured in the form of Arctic Collection. A lot of details about the game remain unknown but the sequel is confirmed to arrive sometime in 2024. However, a specific date is yet to be revealed.

Never Alone 2 is still in the development phase and it might take a few more months until it is released officially. The first game was said to be a unique experience where gamers got to experience a beautiful voyage called the Inupiat culture and folklore of the indigenous people living in the northern shores of Alaska.

The Arctic Collection video revealed towards the end that the sequel was in the works but a lot of details were not revealed. President of E-Line Media announced the sequel at the time, saying that they have already started to work on the pre-production of the game and they are building the same development partnership for shsring and celebrating the culture and storytelling of Alaska Native.

The first game was highly successful and the reason for the same was a collaboration with the Alaska Native Community. For now, the gameplay details for the sequel remain unknown but there is a possibility that the developers might add a lot of elements from the first game in the second part.
