Outcast was released many years ago in 1999. No one expected it to become a hit but it managed to become one and received decent feedback from the public. The game was so successful that it led to re-release through digital distribution in 2010. Now after a long wait, the game is finally getting a sequel titled Outcast 2: A New Beginning and it is reported to feature the same premise like we saw in the previous part.
So, let’s check the release date and everything else that we know until now about the upcoming game.
Outcast 2: A New Beginning: Release Date
Outcast 2: A New Beginning will reportedly bring the game into the modern world. Considering that it is arriving for the gamers after a long wait, developers would possibly like to take some time to ensure that everyone gets the best experience out of it. So for now we don’t have a release date for the game but we can expect it to arrive by 2024. There could be some delay and only time will tell what might happen.
Outcast 2: A New Beginning: Trailer
Outcast 2: A New Beginning might not be released so soon. However, the developers have opted to keep the excitement alive as they have released a trailer two years ago. The combat trailer has also been released and further updates are expected to come out soon.
Outcast 2: A New Beginning: Gameplay
Outcast 2: A New Beginning will feature a lot of thrilling elements for the gamers which would force them to continue playing the game for more hours. The game was announced in 2021 but there is hardly any information available about the gameplay. However, some sources have disclosed details related to the same.
It is confirmed for now that Cutter Slade is returning but he might not arrive on the planet Adelpha. He would be summoned by the Talan people for the second time and help them to settle a civil war. Slade also needs to save the Talan from destroying corporations aiming to enslave them and extract the resources owned by Adelpha until now.
Slade will get a jetpack along with weapons taken from robotic invaders. The jetpack will let Slade fly to great distances and avoid enemy attacks at the same time. There is also an energy shield that will work for offense and defense and it can be mixed with the jetpack, turning Slade into a ballistic missile. The weapons of Slade can also be upgraded through modules that will also affect the accuracy, ammunition supplies, and damage.
