Ray Donovan: Plot and Cast
The show is set in Los Angeles for the first five seasons and in New York for the last two. Ray Donovan who works for Goldman & Drexler is a crime cleaner or a fixer. He arranges all the dirty details to make sure that the client is able to win. This includes paying off people, bribes, and is involved in other illegal activities.
Donovan is very good at his job and is very devoted to his brothers and children. He has a complicated relationship with his wife, Abby Donovan, as well as with his father, Mickey Donovan. His father has been in prison for a long time, and when he is released, the FBI tries to bring all of them down.
Liev Schreiber plays Raymond ‘Ray’ Donovan while Paula Malcomson plays Abigail ‘Abby’ Donovan. Eddie Marsan plays Terrance ‘Terry’ Donovan who is Ray’s older brother. He also has Parkinson’s disease and is a former boxer.
Dash Minok plays Brendan ‘Bunchy’ Donovan and is Ray’s younger brother. Pooch Hall plays Daryll Donovan, Ray’s younger half brother. Jon Voight plays Michael ‘Mickey’ Donovan, Ray’s father.
