Sons of the Forest was announced a long time back in 2019 and although it was scheduled to be released by 2022, it was delayed to ensure that the dream vision of the developers is achieved. The game was then supposed to arrive sometime in 2023 but it was delayed again for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, the official launch is now confirmed to happen on February 22, 2024.

Sons of the Forest is going to feature some horror elements, bringing more fun while you play the game. According to reports, the lead character will get trapped on an island which is full of cannibals. Players have to build his or her weapons and buildings to emerge as the survivors and a lot of mechanics have also been added.
There will be a character named Kevin who is deaf and mute but can understand written commands. With those commands, gamers would be able to complete simple tasks like collecting crafting resources and putting fires in different places. There will also be a three-legged an d three-armed woman named Viriginia.
The map is said to be bigger compared to the previous game The Forest, which was released in 2014. There will be a multiplayer mode too where around eight players can join and a single-player mode has also been added. The ending will be dependent on the actions of the gamers.
