The upcoming platform video game Super Mario Bros. Wonder is developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. This upcoming game is the first traditional side-scrolling Super Mario game since New Super Mario Bros. U (2012) which will be released soon.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder Release Date

Super Mario Bros. Wonder was first revealed on June 21, 2023, at a Nintendo Direct presentation. The release date is confirmed to be October 20, 2023 and it will be available only on the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo also announced the exit of Charles Martinet as the voice of Mario and various other characters. A 15-minute special for Nintendo Direct was also released on August 31, 2023.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Gameplay

Super Mario Bros. Wonder will feature eight different characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Toad, Toadette, Nabbit, and Yoshi. The game will have different levels and will be set in the Flower Kingdom where the player needs to take the help of the denizens. The players need to stay away from the enemies and every stage has a lot of Wonder Seeds. Multiplayer mode has also been added for your convenience. The power of the character will also get increased and can also change them into an elephant.

The flowers will let the player make bubbles for trapping enemies. The next will be a mushroom that will offer a drill hat and the Wonder Flower will help to create the best special effects, including the entry of different characters and the addition of abilities. There will be a new feature where badges will be given to the players and the perks will be unlocked as the game progresses. The badges would be of various types including Action, Boost, and Expert. The first will provide additional powers to the player while the second one will offer additional passive ability. The third one will help to get advanced skills for the player.
