What To Know About The Croods: A New Age

Emma Stone has had a lot of successes in her movie career, including her big Academy Award win as an actress in a lead role for La La Land. The Arizona native has come a long way after she moved to Los Angeles to become an actress, died her hair her signature red, and played intense roles such as a recovering drug addict in Birdman and Sally Bowles in the musical Cabaret.

The Croods 2 also known as The Croods: A New Age is an upcoming computer-animated adventure comedy film that was produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is a sequel to the 2013 film The Croods, which became very successful amongst younger audiences.

Joel Crawford directed the film while Mark Swift produced the film. Kevin Hageman, Dan Hageman, Paul Fisher and Bob Logan wrote the screenplay while James Ryan worked as the editor and Mark Mothersbaugh worked with the music for the film.

The Croods: A New Age: Cast and Plot

We saw the Croods successfully leave their cave in the first film, and now the second film sees them meet the Bettermans (ironic), who claimed that they were better and more evolved than the Croods.

However, Eep Crood and the only daughter of the Bettermans, Dawn, escape, and the Croods and Bettermans are forced to put their differences aside and come together for the sake of their children.

Nicolas Cage plays Grug Crood, while Emma Stone plays Eep Crood. Ryan Reynolds plays Guy, Eep’s boyfriend while Peter Dinklage plays Phil Betterman and Leslie Mann plays Hope Betterman. Kelly Marie Tran plays Dawn Betterman while Catherine Keener plays Ugga Crood.
