Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be available for Xbox One! Know more!

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is an action game that Sega produced and released. It is a recreation of the Yakuza 2 video game from 2006. The project is the second reboot title after the 2016 Kiwami Yakuza. It had been created using the Yakuza 6 Dragon game engine.

Release Date

The game was unveiled on 7 December 2017 in Japan for PS4 and on 28 August 2018 worldwide. It was released on May 9, 2019, for Windows on Steam worldwide, and will be available on July 30th, 2020 for Xbox One.

Gameplay

An assassination causes an all-out conflict to erupt between the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance. Kazuma Kiryu, the Dojima Dragon, must fly to Sotenbori, Osaka to negotiate peace among the opposing clans, but Ryuji Goda, the Kansai Dragon, will stop at nothing to get his fight.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 maintains the same Yakuza 2 plot structure while adding new gameplay features and subsequent title changes, as well as new story elements to address ambiguous plot points in the original release and tie the game back to other games in the franchise. The player controls Kazuma Kiryu, the protagonist of the game.

Kazuma Kiryu claimed his days in the Tojo Clan were behind him. Haruka Sawamura, the young lady, and he created a happy life out of the ashes of war. What it took to break the harmony was a single blast. The Tojo Clan’s Fourth Secretary, Yukio Terada, was killed. Despite battle on the horizon, Dojima’s famed Dragon is dragged back into the universe that he tried to leave behind.

Fighting is based on those seen previously in Yakuza 6, but with a range of new motions and unique ‘Heat Moves’ cinematic. A new plot scenario, called “The Majima Saga,” featuring recurring anti-hero character Goro Majima as a playable individual.

For either Xbox One or Windows 10, Yakuza 3, 4, 5, and 6 were not announced. Nevertheless, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is coming on Xbox One and Xbox Series X soon.
