Developed and published by miHoYo in mainland China, Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming free-to-play urban fantasy action role-playing game with global publishing by Cognosphere, d/b/a HoYoverse. The game is expected for released on Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android, and for unspecified home consoles.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic future world called New Eridu. There are entities called Ethereal who have entered the human world from portals known as Hollows. The Ethereal has also led to a lot of problems among human beings, leading to the death of most of them. But there are some survivors who have established a bastion against the invaders known as New Erido and have also managed to survive the upcoming onslaught by taking out the technology and resources of Ethereal.

Zenless Zone Zero Gameplay

Zenless Zone Zero is set in an urban fantasy world where there will be a lot of action elements. The player would portray the role of a character called Proxy who has been helping others to explore alternate worlds called Hollows. While they progress further, Proxy will also bring new members to the party as they would confront the Ethereal and other enemies. Players can also combine the abilities of all the members, leading to more damage and combos.

Zenless Zone Zero Release Date

An official release date for Zenless Zone Zero has not been confirmed yet. In May 2022, the game was revealed by HoYoverse and began holding closed beta tests, known as “Tuning Tests”, for PC and iOS in August of the same year.
