The game show plays around as the name itself suggests, a single female bachelor and pool of romantic love interests. Subsequently one of them becomes the husband of the single contestant. The show can be called the gender-reversed show of the parent show The Bachelor. male contestants greet the bachelorette at the beginning of the show and after every rose ceremony the contestant gets eliminated. The first season showed Trista Rehn from The Bachelor’s runner up. Then again in season four, the single female was the runner up from the previous season of The Bachelor. Season thirteen showed a little twist when the contestant was African-American, Rachel Lindsey. She was the only African-American contestant in the entire Bachelor franchise. In season sixteen, which is also the latest season of the show has featured two bachelorettes for the first time.

Moss proposed to Clare in the fourth episode of the season and sources say they are still together as of December 2020.
