OnePlus 7 Renders Leaked alongside 360-degree Video, reveals pop-up Selfie Camera

OnePlus showcased its OnePlus 5G prototype in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 event. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer’s next smartphone is expected to be the OnePlus 7. Today tipster Steve H.McFly in collaboration with @Onleaks published the first 5k renders and 360-degree video of the upcoming flagship.

From the 5K renders, the design of the OnePlus 7 seems similar to its predecessor though it has its differences. The smartphone sports an additional rear sensor now making it a total of three cameras. It measures 162.6 x 76 x 8.8mm with the camera bump adding to a 9.7mm.

Rumors claim that OnePlus 7 will come with a screen-to-body ratio of more than 95 percent. It will achieve it by reducing the bezels and using a pop-up mechanism for the selfie camera. The display is supposed to be 6.5 inches while the resolution is likely to be FHD+. Other ports and buttons remain at the same place. We can sport the USB Type-C port and loudspeaker grill at the bottom while the power button and volume rocker are placed at the right.

There is very less information about the specs of the device. However, Pete Lau confirmed at the MWC event that there would be no wireless charging on OnePlus 7. It will likely house a Snapdragon 855, but it will be a non-5G handset. The base variant may sport 6GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. Rumors also suggested it bring a massive 4,150 mAh battery while running on Oxygen OS based on Android 9 Pie.

OnePlus usually launches two phones in a year with the regular version around May-June and the T variant releasing in October-November. However, this year the company will be launching its 5G smartphone so the timelines may vary. It may also be possible that it will launch alongside the OnePlus 7. As for pricing, we can expect the upcoming flagship to be priced around Rs 35,000-Rs 40,000.
