Ever since the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro devices are launched, there are quite a lot of romours around the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. Now, an alleged leak-based CAD renders along with a 360-degree video of the device popped up online. The leaked renders of the OnePlus 8 Lite look quite promising. Also this could technically be the second mid-range smartphone from the company.
OnePlus 8 Lite
The leaked renders of the 8 Lite showcases the design of the device with a centered punch hole display notch. The bezels are noticably thicker when compared with the 7T and 7T Pro. The 90 Hz display found on the old-gen OnePlus’s might take an attandance here. Sadly, the front glass on the 8 Lite is not curved like the ones found on the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. The back is made up of glass and there is a vertical rear camera setup along with a ToF sensor. It is worth noting that the OnePlus 8 Lite comes with a dual rear camera setup.
As for the other placements, the alert slider and the power key are found on the right side of the device. The volume rockers are placed on the left side. The speaker grille along with the USB Type-C port are found on the bottom of the device. The absence of the physical fingerprint sensor on the back clearly gives us a hint that the device will come equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
As of now there is no information about the chipset and other details. Basically, OnePlus has two ways of releasing this new ”Lite” line-up. They could completely go into Redmi and Realme way and release the OnePlus 8 Lite with Snapdragon 865 SoC for under Rs. 30,000 price range. Or else, they could release it with Snapdragon 765G too. As mentioned earlier, there is not a lot of information regarding the chipset, optics, battery and other details. For more OnePlus 8 Lite coverage keep following us.
