Baldur’s Gate 3 is a highly anticipated role-playing game created and published for Windows by Larian Studios and the streaming platform Stadia. It is the third part of the game in the Baldur Gate series, based on the role-playing structure of Dungeons & Dragons.
At the PAX East 2020 gathering, it was revealed, unlike past Baldur’s Gate titles. The Baldur’s Gate 3 battle will be turn-based, close to the Larian Original Sin series.
Baldur’s Gate is back with the first new mainstream title since 2004, after years of re-releases, minor game changes, and acquisitions. Baldur’s Gate 3 will be played later this year.
This takes place in Dungeons & Dragons’ universe and is named for the legendary city: Baldur’s Gate. Baldur’s Gate is a city situated on the Sword Coast on the Faerûn continent and is also the environment for the roleplaying games of some of the corporations. This also appears around the world, in numerous novels and D&D projects.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has yet to obtain a set launch date. The game is expected to kick off in 2020. Check out the Early Access trailer below.
About Early Access
The Wizard, Cleric, Warrior, Ranger, and Rogue classes can be the provided characters upon early access launch. Including more is expected as the game moves closer to a final release. There isn’t a final number of classes currently planned.
The title is intended to include a small range of story chapters accessible through early access. As per Larian in an interview, they claimed that the initial early access builder will contain “Act 1-A”. They also claimed that it will be more ambitious than Divinity: Original Sin 2’s early access build.
Get ready to venture forth. Baldur's Gate 3 is coming to Early Access August 2020… Maybe. Roll with us, June 18th. Baldur’s Gate 3 kicks off D&D Live. https://t.co/SnSetSJZgU

In the teaser, we got a good look at the environment of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the Mindflayers, the key villain group. Users may be familiar with the brain-like D&D requirements. Finally, they are back and they dominate the agenda. We got to see the Mindflayers attack an ordinary Fighter in the original trailer, gradually turning them into a Lovecraftian monster.
There we see the same mechanism being done but in a much slower way, even with the worm reaching the goals noggin slowly.
We do get a glimpse at the attacking ship of the Mindflayer, which floats up into the atmosphere. The ship is quickly targeted by dragons after its arrival.
This early access window will contain the first bit of the plot and some places to visit, but the final game will be much bigger.
