Cyberpunk 2077 is a forthcoming video game created and released by CD Projekt. The plot takes place in futuristic Night City, an open world with six distinct areas, derived from the Cyberpunk series.
Cyberpunk 2077 is being created by a team of around 500 using the REDengine 4. In Wrocław, Poland, CD Projekt began a new company and collaborated with Digital Scapes, Nvidia, and QLOC to support development. Cyberpunk pioneer Mike Pondsmith is a consultant, with actor Keanu Reeves playing a starring role.
CD Projekt RED moved the date of Cyberpunk 2077 to 19 November for the second time in June 2020. CD Projekt RED stated the game’s scale because of the delay, claiming it had to go over it properly, improve game mechanics and patch a lot of glitches.

CD project RED unveiled a brand new dramatic trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, named The Gig, revealed during the Night City live video stream conducted in June 2020.
Gameplay
Users will take the first-person viewpoint of a customizable mercenary named V. They can learn hacking and machinery abilities, weapons, and melee fighting options. The playthroughs can be both lethal and non-lethal.
Here V had intended to steal from Arasaka Corporation a model “eternal-life” chip. Based on the user’s option in the game, Cyberpunk 2077 can also have a slew of gangs and groups which can be friendly.
The “braindance” feature was nevertheless the most fascinating aspect. Perhaps never seen in any game previously, this element carries Cyberpunk 2077 true essence.
This will feature ray tracking and other technical improvements to ensure the game has a “wow factor,” says Richard Borzymowski. Many Game Engine capabilities are yet to be revealed.
In June 2020, CD Projekt RED released the Braindance mechanic during the Night City Live broadcast. The skill would allow players to immerse themselves in the lives and experiences of other Characters.
Platforms
It is planned for release on 19 November 2020 for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One. It will be available on Stadia by the end of the year, and 2021 for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
CD Projekt RED announced in September 2019 that they are working on the multiplayer setup for Cyberpunk 2077. The game will eventually begin as a single-player experience though.
