Developed by Rare, Everwild is an upcoming action-adventure video game that is d published by Xbox Game Studios for Windows and Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The development of Everwild started a long time back in 2014 but it spent a lot of years in experimental prototyping until the game was officially announced. Rare then revealed a new action-adventure AAA game which was supposed to be a third-person game and the same thing was also revealed at the Xbox X019 presentation which happened in 2019. Lead designer for Alien: Isolation Gary Napper also joined this time serving in the same position.

Everwild Gameplay
Everwild is still in the development stage and a lot of details have not been announced until now. Moreover, separate descriptions have been mentioned everywhere. The game was revealed to be a third-person adventure game a long time back in 2020 and the developers took a lot of elements from the God games. The latest reports also mention that the game won’t feature a lot of combat. Video game reporter Andy Robinson from Video Games Chronicles revealed that the game is supposed to resemble Viva Pinata and won’t be a survival game. He added that he is not working so much for now but if Gregg Matles would take things forward, gamers can expect that the project will turn out to be something different.
Everwild Release Date
Video game journalist Jeff Grubb revealed during a stream in June 2021 that the game has got a reboot after entering the development phase. The developers planned to release the game by 2023 and a report by Video Game Chronicles stated that the game was going through a new reboot after creative director Simon Woodroffe announced his exit. It was also revealed that the game’s release was postponed to 2024 and the developers were specifically planning to release the game only in 2024.
