For All Mankind Seasons 2 and 3: Release Date, Cast, Plot and more!

American science fiction television series For All Mankind has been made for Apple TV+. The series has been created and written by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi. The series is a dramatized representation of an alternate history that depicts what would have happened if the global space race never ended after Soviet Union succeeded in the first crewed Moon landing ahead of United States. Joel Kinnaman plays the lead role as NASA astronaut Edward Baldwin.

The series made its premiere on 1st November 2019 and it was renewed for a second season in October 2019. A third season of the series was also confirmed in December 2020 before the premiere of second season. Overall, the series has received positive reviews from critics as well as audiences and was also nominated for Best New TV Series at the 2019 IGN Summer Movie Awards.

For All Mankind Seasons 2 and 3 Release Date

For All Mankind was renewed for a second season in October 2019 and fans of the show will be happy to hear that it has already premiered on 19th February 2021. The second season has 10 episodes and first two episodes have premiered on 19th and 26th February 2021. Among the remaining 8 episodes, four of them would premiere on 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th March and the other four on 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd April, 2021. The release date of the third season has not been announced yet.

The cast members of Season 2 includes poster-child astronaut Tracy Stevens played by Sarah Jones, Sonya Walger as Molly Cobb, Jodi Balfour as Ellen Waverly Wilson, Michael Dornan as Tracy’s husband and astronaut Gordo, Joel Kinnaman as NASA’s Ed Baldwin and Shantel VanSanten as his wife Karen. There is no official news about the cast of Season 3 but probably, the cast members of Season 2 will return for Season 3.

For All Mankind Season 2 will continue directly from the events of the first season which includes a devastating space accident and the nervous breakdown of Gordo. As for now, makers have not revealed the plot details of For All Mankind Season 3.
