Morbius: New Movie updates!

Morbius is an upcoming American superhero film based on the famous Marvel character of the same name. Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel has produced this movie. Morbius in addition to the movie Venom (2018) is the second movie in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters. The movie is all set to give goosebumps to its viewers!

What is the character ” Morbius” all about?

Morbius the living vampire also knows as Dr. Michael Morbius is an American fictional character. Appearing in Marvel Comic books. Created by writer Roy Thomas and designed by penciler Gil Kayne. His first on-screen appearance was with  The Amazing Spider-man as his enemy.

The character is a famous award-winning biochemist who tries to cure his rare blood disease. Something went wrong and subsequently turns into a vampire. He has superhuman abilities and physical traits enough to make him a classy villain.

The Cast of Morbius

The movie stars Jared Leto as the main character, Michael Morbius. He shares the screen with Matt Smith, Adriana Arjona, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson. Also, there are rumors of Michael Keaton’s appearance in the movie but it had not been confirmed yet.

The Plot of Morbius

The plot revolves around Michael Morbius who is suffering from a rare blood disease. To cure himself of the disease he subsequently, turns into a vampire. However, it would be interesting to see what went wrong!

Release Date and Trailer of the Morbius

19th March 2021 is the official release date for the film. Delayed from the original July 2020 release because of the pandemic.
