The executive producer of ‘Supernatural’, Andrew Dabb took to his official Twitter account to announce that the show will not be airing next week. The episode aired on 23rd March 2020 titled,’ Destiny’s Child’ was the last episode of the finale season before COVID-19 happened. The episode saw Dabb confirmed there are few more episodes, but the production and visual effects haven’t begun because of the sudden outbreak of COVID-19.
Before the release of the final season of the show, the star cast of ‘Supernatural’, Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins, announced that the concluding season of the show will be out in 2020, the SPN fans were completely devastated. Jared and Jensen revealed that the final season of ‘Supernatural’ was under progress for three years, and due to the lockdown measures worldwide everything’s suddenly paused.
The producers and the showrunners confirmed that they will be back with their plan of releasing 20 episodes of the 15th season of ‘Supernatural’, as soon as all this is over. As of now, they have filmed till the 18th Episide and there’s no confirmed date when the finale will go on air at The CW Network but it definitely will in time.
