Warner Bros has been pushing the dates of DC comic-based movies. Wonder Woman 1984 release date has been pushed from June 2020 to August 2020, Flash which is the sequel to 2019’s Shazam pushed the release date earlier from July 2022 to June 2022. Shazam 2 was supposed to release in April 2022 is being postponed to release on 4 November 2022.
Adding to the list, Matt Reeve’s The Batman starring Robert Pattinson in the lead role which is a reboot film of Batman franchise got delayed as well due to the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 by four months, from June to October 2021.

The filming for the movie was started in January 2020 and the production was halted in March 2020 in The UK where the major scenes of the movie were about to shoot outdoors with Robert Pattison in action with the incredible Batmobile and also a Batcycle, because of COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. Pattinson has been training for a while to fit in the role of Batman perfectly, he has been spotted training with Brazilian black belt athlete, Rigan Machado.
The US final release the date of The Batman movie has not been revealed, but the release date for UK is known which is October 2021.
