Developed by Red Storm Entertainment, Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland is an upcoming free-to-play third-person shooter action game that is published by Ubisoft. The game is a standalone spin-off set in The Division universe. It is set to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Amazon Luna.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland Gameplay

Compared to the first two games of the series, the premise of Heartland is set in America and Silver Creek, a fictional town. The game has two different modes the first mode features an environment where one player would be gracing another and it can support around 45 players in total. Players need to confront agents who belong to a rogue faction called Vultures and also survive themselves from a virus. The other mode is called Excursion Operations where players have to face the environment along with finishing missions and accumulating a lot of items. The game has three different character classes and six playable characters and there will be a lot of elements from other survival games. Players also have to manage the hydration level and there will be contamination zones instead of dark zones. Players also have to use breathing filters to enter the areas and the loot is said to be more valuable. The game also has a day-night cycle and the artificial intelligence of the enemies will be more alert at night.

Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland Release Date

In May 2021, the game was officially announced and Red Storm Entertainment led the development of the free-to-play title, while RedLynx and Ubisoft Romania provided assistance. The game is set to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Amazon Luna. An open beta would be released prior to the game’s official launch.
