Just a couple of days after the Vivo V15 Pro launch, the company has now unveiled the non-Pro version of the smartphone in Thailand. Dubbed as Vivo V15, the smartphone packs the same punch from its elder sibling but with specific cuts. Notably, there’s no in-display fingerprint scanner on the device. Main highlights of the phone include a pop-up selfie camera, triple rear cameras, and MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.

The Vivo V15 features with a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display. Under the hood, its powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It is further expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
As for the optics, the handset bears triple cameras at the rear. The module comprises of a 12-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/1.78 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens, and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. Contrarily, the V15 Pro had a 48MP primary camera coupled with the other two. For selfies, the V15 gets the same 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 lens up front.
Furthermore, the Vivo V15 runs Funtouch OS 9 based on Android 9.0 Pie. There’s a 4,000mAh battery that supports a Dual-Engine fast charging technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Vivo V15: Price, Availability
The Vivo V15 price is set at THB 10,999 (roughly Rs. 24,500) as of Thailand. The handset will be available in Topaz Blue and Glamour Red color options. It is also listed in Malaysia and might arrive soon in India as well.
Note that the V15 Pro was launched for Rs. 28,990 for the 6/128GB model last week in the country. That being said, let’s wait for any official wordings on the Indian launch of Vivo V15. Stay tuned for more updates.
