Ghostwire Tokyo: Gameplay, Release Date and More!
Ghostwire Tokyo is an upcoming video game. Tango GameWorks is the developer of the game and Bethesda Softworks are the publisher. As of now we don’t know will Ghostwire Tokyo will be a survival horror like the Evil Within. The game will deal with conspiracy theories and paranormal activities. It can be an action-adventure but it will for sure have lots of supernatural elements. At E3, 2019 the game got a stylish description along with release. The teaser of the game is out but we don’t know very much about the actual storyline. Tokyo is overrun by deadly supernatural forces after 99% of the city’s population vanishes. The game will release in 2021. The game will be available only for Playstation 5 and PC.
The creative director of Tango Gameworks on 4 September 2019 left Tango Gameworks. Nakamura was with the studios for almost nine years. The reason of her departure is not clear. But she is willing to join any other gaming studio. Despite her departure, the game is still under progress. Shinji Mikami, who was also the creative director of The Evil Within and its sequel Evil Within 2 is now working on Ghostwire: Tokyo. The departure of Nakamura did not cancel the release of the game but it can delay the game to release on time.
The first look of gameplay is from Sony’s Playstation 5 release event. The event held on June 11. The game can be an action-adventure game. The players must uncover a mystery and save Tokyo from creepy spirits. Tango Gameworks is known for such gameplays. The story will be quite similar to The Evil Within and its sequel Evil Within 2. The tagline of the game is ” Don’t fear the unknown. Attack it”. The trailer shows Tokyo’s inhabitants suddenly vanish. It looks players will work out why people are disappearing. As the game proceeds you will meet human survivors and friendly spirits. The player will become the mysterious bow wilder.
The game will have hood street archer, a mask man his role is mysterious, a moving Japanese gate, and a dying flower. A strange encounter causes your own supernatural abilities to take shape. You will face off against evil spirits haunting the city of Tokyo. Armed with a bevy of formidable, upgradable powers you will face off against evil spirits.
Types of Spirits
Each spirit will have its own attack styles and weaknesses, so you will need to combine your abilities in different ways. This will suit a unique combat encounters. But only spirits are not the only threat. It will be up to you to determine the motives of the spirits and unveil the mystery.
Amewarashi is the entity manifests as a young child in a yellow raincoat. Derived from the powerful emotions of sadness caused by being separated from his parents, as well as his innocent yet mischievous spirit, this Visitor will call for help and bring forth fellow spirit when it feels threatened.
Shiromuku is a traditional type of pure white wedding kimono, and though she may appear to be a bride, this Visitor is actually a physical manifestation of powerful emotions. This Visitor represents regret and strong feelings for a partner she was never able to marry. Kuchisake is Inspired by an actual urban legend, the Kuchisake-onna is a strong and agile opponent, capable of closing distances quickly to get at you with her large scissor blades. Be careful if she asks you if you find her attractive; there are no right answers there.
The game will release for the next generation gaming console Playstation 5. The game will take advantage of the next-generation features. Playstation 5 will help them to bring their uniques vision of the haunt of Tokyo to life. The next-gen will allow visual quality as well as the audio will be of the best quality. Game Director on Ghostwire: Tokyo. “This version of Tokyo is not a version you’ve ever seen or heard before. In Ghostwire: Tokyo, you’ll hear and encounter sounds that you normally would not hear in the city in real life. Our hope is that with the 3D sound, you will feel compelled to seek out and identify what is causing those sounds you hear.”
The release date for the game not specific as of now. We might have to wait a long for any official confirmation of the release date. But we can expect the game to release by mid-2021.
