Release Date

THQ Nordic plans to release Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, on September 8, 2020, for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One.

Gameplay

Players will be taken to the land of Amalur by awesome action-RPG as the remaster launches on September 8. Three separate classes will be eligible from which to choose at launch, the first trailer is based on the Finesse class.

The journey of the Finesse warrior is built around the secrecy and the gossip. Characters would be armed with a lethal arsenal of weapons at their hands, such as mines, explosives, and toxins, to become a dangerous hunter throughout the fantasy world. Being Finesse involves hiding in the dark, quietly killing rivals, and making opponents leak out of the consequences of poisons.

The combat trailer of Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning offers a first look at the remaster action class. All the talents of the protagonists can be seen, amid the breathtaking world of Amalur.

In addition to the remake of the original tale of the Kingdom of Amalur, there is more material in the works for the series. Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesword is the expansion that will come to the game, set to be released as a DLC sometime in 2021.

Players should expect to see a variety of new features in the remaster with updated graphics that support native 4K resolution. Gameplay has also been streamlined to work seamlessly with contemporary control systems, and all previously published downloadable content.
