McMafia is a British crime drama television series. Hossein Amini and James Watkins created the show and Watkins directed it. A Journey Through the Global Criminal Underworld by journalist Misha Glenny is the source of inspiration for this show. It premiered in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 1 January 2018.
Not a lot of people watched this show, but everyone who watched it thoroughly enjoyed it. They consider this as an underrated television series. The show received really good reviewers and ratings from the audience. This series had 95% likes on Google, a rating of 7.7/10 on IMDb and 71% likes on Rotten Tomatoes.

According to Google, “Alex, a legitimate businessman, tries to evade his family’s dark past. However, a murder exposes his family’s mafia ties and he has to enter the world of crime to protect his loved ones.”

BBC One restored the show for an eight-chapter second series. The season is expected to release sometime by December 2020 if everything goes according to the plan.
